Everyday words to live by from her book The Builder’s Daughter
  1. Study, plan, think, get it right the first time. If you inspect the foundation, everything else fits properly.
  2. Don’t rock the boat. If you are in the middle of a stream, keep paddling, until you reach shore.
  3. Keep fighting. If you are in the ring, box your way out.
  4. If you make a mistake, you can start over.
  5. Examples are when a love one passes away, you have to put aside the past and make life meaningful.
  6. When your children grow up and leave the nest, you start over on another project.
  7. When an illness such as cancer occurs, you heal and start over.
  8. Think of loving words you received from your parents when you are in rough situations.
  9. Don’t lie, but nobody is forcing you to tell the truth when confronted with complicated decisions.
  10. Think of the blessings you have that you have accomplished through your hard work including children, grandchildren, friendships local and throughout the world, organizations you created and progress your community and country have achieved.

The West Coast Jewish Theatre The West Coast Jewish Theatre

The West Coast Jewish Theatre is a California non-profit corporation devoted to the quality production of dramatic and comedic plays, musical theatre, revues and special performances.

The West Coast Jewish Theatre was founded in 1993 when Naomi Karz Jacobs assembled a group of friends with Yiddishkeit and love of theatre in their hearts. Despite the fact that several previous attempts by others had failed, Naomi garnered support from many talented, dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers of all ages who felt strongly about this need and its importance to Jewish cultural continuity. They wanted to carry on Jewish traditions through the arts, specifically Jewish theatre.
